POSITION: Bartenders POSTING DATE: 03/18/08
LOCATION: Pine Hills Clubhouse/Banquet Hall CLOSING DATE: 03/31/08
SALARY: $6.50 per hour plus Tips NonExempt
Seasonal 2 Part Time and 3 Fill In positions available
Due to a Tribal Council Directive there is no wage negotiation effective 12-19-06.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Will prepare drinks and serve prepared food through out the golf course, clubhouse, and banquet hall area. Will prepare short order food requests.

DUTIES:

  1. Solicit sales for beverage and food from golfers, and other patrons.
  2. Drive the beverage cart vehicle in a safe manner, following procedures.
  3. Set up and inventory supplies at the beginning and ending of the tour of duty.
  4. Tend bar, perform short order cooking.
  5. Account for all sales through the proper cash transactions.
  6. Maintain work area in a clean, neat and sanitary manner.
  7. Must maintain an acceptable departmental attendance record.
  8. Must be reliable and provide excellent customer service.
  9. Must attend all training provided by the employer.
  10. Must attend all meetings as required by the employer.
  11. Must adhere to all established rules, regulations, procedures, and policies of the Stockbridge/Munsee Community.
  12. Must participate in the employee random drug-testing program.
  13. All other duties as assigned by the employer.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High School Diploma or GED required.
  2. Must have Responsible Beverage Certification preferred, or must obtain before working.
  3. Experience bartender preferred.
  4. Demonstrate outgoing personality and temperament, for customer service.
  5. Ability to handle and account for cash transactions.
  6. Must be able to work varied work schedules as needed.
  7. Familiarity with golf course layout terms, etc. preferred.
  8. Must be willing to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
  9. Must obtain and maintain coverage under the employee dishonesty policy.
  10. Must submit and pass pre-employment drug and health screening.
  11. Must have demonstrated ability to maintain satisfactory working record in any prior or current employment.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATION:

Must submit to periodic communicable diseases screenings and maintain a non-communicable disease status. (Such as TB and Hepatitis A)
