SALARY: $7.72 PAY GRADE: 4

Due to a Tribal Council Directive there is no wage negotiation effective 12-19-06.  

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

To help in preparation of setting up the kitchen for the day’s activities—to include food preparation, set up, and clean up—a floater throughout the kitchen duties. Reports to the Head Chef.

DUTIES:

  1. Prepare kitchen appliances for the day/evening and prep food as needed.
  2. May be asked for assistance on ordering for supplies and daily menu’s.
  3. Keep all aspects of the kitchen clean and up to health codes.
  4. Will wash dishes, pots and pans and keep all kitchen appliances clean.
  5. Must maintain an acceptable departmental attendance record.
  6. Must be reliable.
  7. Must attend all training provided by the employer.
  8. Must attend all meetings.
  9. Must adhere to all established rules, regulations, procedures, and policies of the Stockbridge/Munsee Community.
  10. Must participate in the employee random drug-testing program.
  11. Perform other duties as requested by immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Pine Hills is looking for individuals who are courteous, energetic, reliable, and willing to perform all duties in a professional manner.
  1. High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  2. Previous cook experience preferred.
  3. Must be physically able to perform all tasks.
  4. Must have good communication skills.
  5. Must be willing to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  6. Must obtain and maintain coverage under the employer’s Employee Dishonesty policy.
  7. Must submit and pass a pre-employment drug and health screening and a criminal background investigation check.
  8. Must have demonstrated ability to maintain satisfactory working record in any prior or current employment.
