JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION: Slot Technician POSTING DATE: 9/18/04
Part Time / Full Time
WAGE: $10.00 per hour CLOSING DATE: 9/27/04
Reports directly to: Lead Slot Technician
Location: Gaming Division
STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS:
All employees of Mohican North Star Casino and Bingo must meet the following qualifications:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Mohican Nation Gaming License.
Must submit to a Criminal Investigation Background Check (CIB).
Must maintain an acceptable departmental attendance record.
Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
Must be 18 years of age.
STANDARD DUTIES:
Must attend all training provided by Mohican North Star Casino and Bingo.
Must adhere to all established rules, regulations, procedures, and policies of Mohican North Star Casino and Bingo and the Department.
Must participate in employee random drug testing program.
Must be able to work with a variety of people with diverse personalities.
Must attend all meetings, as assigned.
Must wear the approved departmental uniform.
Must be reliable and prompt when reporting to work.
All other assigned duties.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED is required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Mohican North Star Casino and Bingo is looking for courteous and friendly individual.
Must be able to lift 150 pounds.
Knowledge of gaming machines, test equipment and progressive signs is preferred.
Working knowledge of slot machine and video poker machine operation is preferred (six months working experience).
Must have basic knowledge of AC/DC electronics.
Must have mechanical background knowledge.
Must know how to solder.
Reading and understanding schematics is preferred.
Must be able to read and understand part breakdown manuals.
Must be able to follow instructions.
DUTIES:
Responsible for maintaining all gaming machines.
Report to supervisor all repairs performed on all gaming machines (via slot maintenance book).
Record progressive amounts on a daily basis.
Repair progressive signs.
Report to supervisor list of parts needs for gaming machines.
Perform all duties of a key person.
