POSITION: Waiter/Waitress POSTING DATE: 03/18/08
LOCATION: Pine Hills Clubhouse/Banquet Hall CLOSING DATE: 03/31/08
SALARY: $5.00 per hour plus Tips Non-Exempt
Supervised by/Reports to: Head Chef Division: Enterprises Department: Food  
Due to a Tribal Council Directive there is no wage negotiation effective 12-19-06.  

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

To take and serve food and beverage orders to patrons. Will cross-train as a hostess/host position. Will be expected to help in other areas such as clean up and setting of the dining room and kitchen area and banquets, tournaments and weddings.

DUTIES:
  1. To take beverage and food orders and provide prompt and courteous service to patrons.
  2. Clear items from tables, clean up spills, and help out with other kitchen duties.
  3. Compute bills, accept payment and receive revenue.
  4. Be able to serve a variety of people from small sit down dining groups to large golf tournaments, banquets, or weddings.
  5. Shall inform bartenders of patrons who are becoming overly intoxicated.
  6. Must maintain an acceptable departmental attendance record.
  7. Must be reliable.
  8. Must attend all training provided by the employer.
  9. Must attend all meetings as required by the employer.
  10. Must adhere to all established rules, regulations, procedures, and policies of the Stockbridge/Munsee Community.
  11. Must participate in the employee random drug-testing program.
  12. All other duties assigned as by the employer.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Pine Hills Golf Course is looking for individuals who are courteous, friendly, reliable, and willing to perform all duties in a professional manner.
  2. High School Diploma or G.E.D. desired.
  3. Previous wait experience preferred.
  4. Must be willing to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
  5. Must submit to a Criminal Investigation Background Check.
  6. Must obtain and maintain coverage under the employer’s Employee Dishonesty policy.
  7. Must submit and pass pre-employment drug and health screening.
  8. Must have demonstrated ability to maintain satisfactory working record in any prior or current employment.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:

Must submit to periodic communicable diseases’ screenings and maintain a non-communicable disease status. (Such as TB and Hepatitis A)
