Danika began training with the Ho-Chunk Youth Runners Against Drunk
Driving in September 2007. After three months of intensive training and
completing a 19-mile test she became a member and received her RADD (Runners
Against Drunk Driving) jacket and her 19-mile marker. Danika completed the
35th Annual Honolulu Marathon on December 9, 2007 in 5:42:47. She finished
2nd in her age division.
At the 2007-2008 Oneida Sobriety Pow-Wow Danika
was recognized by the M.C. for her marathon accomplishment and being a
member of Ho-Chunk Youth Marathon Runners Against Drunk Driving.
