Stream Shocking
Stockbridge-Munsee Environmental and Conservation departments began surveying fish populations on area streams and rivers in 2007. The following images show several students electro-fish shocking with Hydrologist – Luke Hennigan, Water technician – Warren Miller and Fish & Wildlife Biologist Robert Frank. Size, weight, length and numbers of each fish species are recorded. Collected data will be used to monitor fish populations and water quality.
